We have lots of ways for educational institutions to partner with us. We think giving scholars a chance to conduct research that is being driven by practitioners is a huge win for everyone. Here are some of the ways that can happen:
Scholar-in-Residence
Schools can sponsor a part-time research position at MissioLogic and nominate any PhD holding researcher to the position (faculty or student). Scholars-in-Residence function as regular members of our research team. This is ideal for faculty sabbaticals, faculty with part-time teaching loads, or emeritus faculty.
Research Fellowship
Schools can also sponsor a part-time position for their students as research fellows. Any ABD Phd candidate can be nominated to the position. Research fellows assist the research team in conducting and evaluating research. This gives them some great real-world experience while also providing a small stipend while they finish out their degree.
Affiliate Scholars
We need people with all kinds of expertise. If faculty or students want to contribute to our mission on a project-by-project basis, they can join our network of affiliate scholars. Then, as we have need for their particular expertise, we will contract work out to them. This is great for scholars at all stages, students included.
